Building Dreams since 1980! Since he was a child, Ben was always interested in building. In 1980, he started Ben’s General Contracting. It was passion more than anything. Not just owning a business, but a construction business. His attitude of hard work and “sure we can do that” enthusiasm kept exceeding clients expectations and became the basis of his company. Ben managed through the recession in the early 80’s, sometimes taking work as a union carpenter, but continued to work on his own. We believe this has given BGC the strength and foresight to manage through the rough economic times we have had lately. Our goal has always been growth without becoming a typical “no face” company. Ben and his brother Tony are involved in every aspect of every project. We believe in hard work and educating ourselves for the betterment of our industry and clients. Through upswings and down swings we have always managed to maintain stability and work to keep going. In 2001, Ben incorporated BGC. Tony became a partner after years of working together. This transition brought growth and diversity to BGC. Tony’s perseverance, knowledge and expertise became the food for expansion. The camaraderie shared as brothers and now as partners helped develop the strength and vision that has made this company what it is today.
