BMO Private Equity Trust PLC, formerly F&C Private Equity Trust plc, is an investment trust. The Company's objective is to invest in private equity assets, whilst providing shareholders with a predictable and above average level of dividend funded from a combination of the Company's revenue and realized capital profits. The Company makes private equity investments by taking stakes in private equity focused limited partnerships, offshore funds, investment companies and investment trusts. It may also purchase secondary private equity fund interests. The Company may also make direct private equity investments, mainly through co-investment with the funds in which the Company is invested. BMO Investment Business Limited is the investment manager of the Company.
