The Panhandle House is a boutique recording studio in Denton, Texas. We provide the capabilities and amenities of a large multi-room recording facility, but by catering to just one client at a time, we are able to devote the level of attention and focus one would find in a dedicated project studio. We work on projects of every size, from digital-only release singles to full scale album production with local independent artists and large label clients from around the country. In every case our priorities remain the same: achieving the best possible sound quality while creating an environment in which the artist can relax and create. The centerpiece of the studio is our vintage Neve 8058 Fully Discrete Recording Console with Uptown Moving Fader Automation. This console, coupled with a ProTools HD3 system and 32 channels of Apogee I/O, allow us to track even the biggest session without compromise. Our fantastic collection of boutique and vintage outboard gear featuring API, Chandler, TubeTech, Empirical Labs, Daking, Manley, Mercury, Neve, and UREI, will take your tracks and mixes way outside the box. Accurate and honest monitoring is a must. That is why we use Dynaudio M1 Nearfield Monitors with Bryston Amplification and two Dynaudio BM14S subwoofers configured into a PhantomFocus System by Carl Tatz Design as well as the tried and true Yamaha NS-10m Studio Monitors. We have a large selection of guitars, amps, speaker cabinets, synths, effects, drums and percussion toys at your disposal, as well as a Yamaha C6 Grand Piano with Disklavier and a stellar sounding Hammond A100 Organ with a Leslie 122 speaker.
