Sport Service Mapei was founded in 1996 to support the athletes of the MAPEI professional cycling team, through scientific support and a precise ethical approach. The activity of Sport Service Mapei is based around three important areas. 1) Assistance for sports: analysis and optimization of performance factors, visualization of condition, training plans, identification of needs for health activities, biomechanical analysis of sporting action. 2) Applied reserch in sports: a fundamental part of the innovative and rational approach to the numerous problems that sports at all level pose. 3) Sports culture: revealing confirmed scientific knowledge to contribute to an ever more rational approach to sports and health activity. This is the way that allows better results, not only from a competitive point of view, but also, and most importantly, in caring for health and physical well being.
