The Snohomish Co-op is a farmer cooperative owned by its members and has been around for over 75 years. In 1935, a group of local farmers began a business venture to supply farmers in Snohomish County fuel and farm supplies to aid in their growing operations. Structured as a Co-Op, the group purchased in bulk, covered expenses, offered competitive pricing, and returned profits to the membership in the form of patronage. The Co-op operates today much of the same way it did 75 years ago with adjustments to it’s product offerings and image to meet the needs of today's consumer.
