Roughly one hundred years ago, the volunteers of the Avondale Fire Company may have responded to as many as five calls per month during busy times. Today, our volunteers will respond to an average of five calls every two days. Our volunteers provide fire and rescue services to Avondale Borough, New Garden Township, and portions of London Grove, London Britain, Franklin, and West Marlborough Townships in southern Chester County, PA. Emergency Medical Service for these areas is provided by the Avondale Fire Company EMS Division utilizing a combination of paid and volunteer personnel.
