My belief that no person should go without the joy, and empowerment of having a bicycle. With a initial donation of bicycles, used parts, and tools the idea of Bicycle Recycle was born. Since this is a great way for the community to get involved and help bring joy into a persons life. We are accepting donated bicycles (new, used, or in need of repair), bike accessories, tools, and parts as part of this Community Service program we call Bicycle Recycle. Bicycle Recycle is refurbishing, repairing bicycles and making them available to at risk residents of Greater Detroit at no cost. We desire to work closely with SE Michigan organizations such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters Metro Detroit, Boys and Girls Club of SE Oakland County, Easter Seals, Michigan, Inc., Lighthouse of Oakland County, Grace Centers of Hope, and the Power Company Kids Club. Additionally, Bicycle Recycle will provide no cost repair instruction to at risk residents on bicycle repair and maintenance. Done during appointed hours.
