Established in 1987 as a service organization, Pennsylvania Presenters is a consortium of arts presenters and others working in the performing arts. An organization dedicated to performing arts presenting, serving presenters throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. Members have direct input into the operations and planning process of the organization. Members collaborate on programming, block booking and grant opportunities. They establish dynamic peer-to peer connections, expand existing and create new networking occasions. PA Presenters has a place for every arts presenter or artist. There are three tiers of regular membership dues based on budgets for artist fees. Other categories of membership, from student to artist manager, are also available with a floating dues range. Pennsylvania Presenters is governed by a volunteer board of directors, drawn equally from the Eastern, Central, and Western parts of the state. PA Presenters enjoys a great relationship with Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, Pennsylvania Performing Artist On Tour and many other granting and funding agencies. Members shall be individuals or organizations that are dedicated to the professional industry of presenting and touring the live arts.
