Essex Pension Fund administers the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) for Essex County Council who are the administering authority, and also manage the Police Pension Schemes and Firefighters Pension Schemes in Essex. We are one of the largest funds in the LGPS with over 55,000 actively contributing members and more than 700 participating employers, including Essex County Council, borough, district, town and parish councils, schools and academies, not for profit and charitable organisations.
