In 1927, Charlottesville was introduced to a new way of doing real estate. Roy Wheeler Realty was founded with the philosophy that "service is our most important product." That philosophy stands true today as it was in 1927 when Roy Wheeler borrowed $300 to open Roy Wheeler Realty Co. on the top floor of Monticello Drug Store. Today, more than 88 years later when people think about Charlottesville real estate, the name “Roy Wheeler” is still the first that comes to mind.
