PipeIn is a start-up that introduces a new concept of maintenance by moving from the current preventive approach to a more effective predictive maintenance. This innovative method allows to reduce the risk of failure by 14% and increase pipeline life by 20%. PipeIn’s solution includes a hardware device and a software platform. The hardware is an automated device that is inserted inside the pipelines. It is equipped with a series of sensors, allowing a complete analysis of the pipeline’s condition. Thanks to its flexibility, the device is able to integrate different kinds of sensors which can be replaced depending on the specific application. Its design allows it to avoid getting stuck inside the pipes. The data collected by the probe is elaborated in post-processing through a specific AI predictive algorithm and then delivered to our customers in a final report, together with the predicted evolution of the pipeline’s condition.
