Since 2010, we at Le Botteghe di Leonardo work hard every day to provide to our customers a top quality, truly natural and genuine product and experience. Our gelato and artisan pastry are conceived to be consumed by everyone: children, elderly, people suffering from allergies, vegans, ect. Our centralized laboratory is based in Mori, in the Trentino region: a center of excellence and an ideal location for the access to natural and exceptional raw materials, where our team continually researches and develops new healthy proposals to meet the tastes and needs of customers of all ages. All our products are totally free of hydrogenated vegetable fats and preservatives. Fruits, milk, cream and sugar are selected by suppliers under strict testing protocols. There is no use of mono/triglycerides. In full compliance with the EU legislation (and sometimes even anticipating it), we have eliminated any kind of chemical additives and emulsifiers, preservatives, artificial coloring or flavorings. We use only seasonal fruits, mountain water, raw milk from best stables in Trentino, high quality fresh cream and yogurt, organic eggs. Botteghe di Leonardo currently operates 6 stores in Italy (Milan, Florence and Napoli) and we are rapidly expanding our presence into the Brazilian market, currently operating 4 locations in the city of Sao Paulo (first Flagship opened in February 2015) and 1 in Rio de Janeiro. Overall the company employs about 80 people. We also recently opened our first store in Romania (Cluji). We also established a partnership in China with a local player that currently operates 3 stores in Beijing (http://www.vai-milano.com/about/). Our goal in the mid/long term is to further strengthen our brand and positioning as a key Group in the "artisan premium gelato segment" globally, rapidly expanding both our network of stores in Italy and our presence in selected international markets.
