In January 2017, Trading Post Coffee Roasters opened its doors in Ship Street, Brighton, with a fully open coffee roastery, coffee bar and eatery. Shortly after sites were opened in Lewes, Kensington Gardens (Brighton). In 2020 we opened The Roastery by Trading Post on Sydney Street in Brighton. This site is our main roastery where we develop our blends and offer a full barista training facility for our customers. We roast all our coffee origins individually by hand and in small batches to ensure that they are all crafted to the highest standards with the greatest of care and ensuring maximum freshness and taste. At Trading Post Coffee Roasters, as one of the best coffee shops in Brighton, we stand for natural, sustainable, fair trade, premium coffee. Over the years, we’ve learned a thing or two about how to make great coffee. We pride ourselves on our unique artisan roasting method refined by our Master Roaster who comes from two generations of coffee roasters. Our house coffee blend is 100% certified organic, strictly premium Arabica beans grown at high altitude of 3000ft or above. High-altitude, shade-grown coffee makes for a more complex and delicious cup of coffee. The origins of our beans are of great importance to us. Social and environmental responsibility from farms is one of our highest priorities. We know that the highest quality coffee comes from farmers who are committed to the highest quality in every aspect of their operation – from utilising sustainable growing techniques to the health and welfare of workers.
