The Discovery Eye Foundation (DEF) supports research related to sight-threatening eye diseases and their treatments, improving the quality of life for patients and their families. DEF provides essential bridge funding for promising research projects related to the cornea and retina. Projects supported address age-related macular degeneration, corneal wound healing, glaucoma, keratoconus, ocular herpes and stem cell regeneration.
