HBCU Information Network

www.hbcuin.org

The HBCU Information Network (HBCUIn) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation aimed at educating high school students on attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), as well as their ongoing purpose within the community and continual economic impact of their student body, both past and present. HBCUIn will provide a wide range of categories including, but not limited to business, careers, finance, sports, health & fitness, education, and travel. The programs that will take place within the community will give the HBCU Information Network an advantage over other social networks. Some of the community programs will include Career Champion, Financial Fitness, FAFSA Drive, and Youth Initiative. Although there are 105 Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the United States that our corporation could serve, we will only be focused on specific geographic locations during the corporation’s start-up. However this will provide us with numerous opportunities in years to come. The target start-up geographical areas included Atlanta, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami focusing on three distinct markets; college prospects, college students, and HBCU alumni.
