CAD Services: Offering CAD and specifying services for the commercial office furniture industry utilizing AutoCAD, CAP Worksheet & CAP Design, and Visual Impression. I have worked in the industry since 1984 and spent my first two years as an installer before moving "inside" to do drawing and specifying. Specifically, I have over 25 years experience working with the Herman Miller product lines. I take great pride in specifying accurately and efficiently and often coordinated with the installers to work through any potential issues in the field. Cabinet Building Services: Building reproductions of the original Ampeg B15 double-baffle bass cabinet. I am very focused on accurately reproducing Jess Oliver’s original designs, while making subtle improvements where appropriate, and I take pride in producing high-quality cabinets for all of my customers. Vintage Blue started in 2006. I had two orphaned B15N amplifiers for which I hoped to build cabinets. After a chance set of circumstances, including several emails to and from Jess Oliver, Jess asked if I would be interested in building a third cabinet for him, for an orphaned B15N head that he had. Through a combination of photos and other details provided by Jess I eventually had enough information to build the cabinets. The first completed cabinet was sent to Jess as a bare cabinet, as he wanted to do the covering. In the end Jess seemed very pleased with the cabinet he received and he was soon recommending me to customers of his who were also looking for cabinets. We were good friends until he passed away in 2011. In 2010 I was privileged to consult with Ampeg (at Jess' recommendation) on the double baffle cabinet for the limited edition Heritage B15, providing construction details and recommendations as well as two sample cabinets.
