Empower Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) was established in 2011 and has run 5 successful residential summer programs for individuals with SCIs at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook NY. Over the past 4 years, we have also added hosting Wheelchair Skills Courses at universities in Massachusetts and New York, as well as putting on an annual Knobby Tire Ride and Roll adaptive cycling event in the Greater Boston area.
