The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) is a state and university-sponsored program available to New Jersey students who demonstrate the commitment, motivation, and potential for scholastic success, as well as interest in completing an FDU education. EOF was created by law in 1968 to ensure meaningful access to higher education for those who come from backgrounds of economic and educational hardship. EOF is comprehensive in it approach. EOF provides program participants with the support of structured academic services and specialized counseling. Additionally, to ensure the opportunity to attend college, EOF provides supplemental financial aid to assist with the cost of college.
