Want to get a career in the field you desire while receiving an Associate of Applied Science degree? Pickens Technical College has a special relationship with the Community College of Aurora, as well as with many different high schools throughout Aurora, CO. Students who wish to earn an AAS can begin their degree at Pickens Technical College by completing technical classes for specific occupational certificates. Once these classes are completed, they can continue to take general education courses and other requirements at CCA. When the appropriate number of courses is completed, the student will earn an AAS degree by CCA. Those who wish to complete our program before earning their AAS degree may apply for our programs; once they complete their area of study, students will receive a certificate and transcript that will transfer to nearly any community college or area technical school in the area of their training. Our college offers nearly 50 certificate programs to adults and high school students as part of the Aurora Public Schools and the Colorado Community College System. We strive to provide students with the opportunity to acquire state-of-the-art skills, knowledge, and work habits to help them succeed in the workforce.
