The Nottingham Mavericks are one of the largest and most successful University Ice Hockey Clubs in Britain, with a yearly roster that boasts an impressive level of hockey talent. Established in 2001 and based in the East Midlands, the club play at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena and currently compete across all leagues within the British Universities Ice Hockey Association (BUIHA). With an active roster of over 120 student athletes across a collection of academic institutions, the Nottingham Mavericks is committed to developing our student athletes from within, by offering training and games to players of every ability. Currently we have five active teams across all levels of British University Ice Hockey. Our A, B, C and D teams anually compete in BUIHA league cup competition alongside also having a development team for beginners.
