Basta is a nonprofit committed to closing the employment gap. Our model is focused on serving as the bridge between employers and an undertapped talent pipeline, first-generation college students. We do this through rigorous career-prep programs designed to support students in securing great jobs and internships, working with the larger non-profit ecosystem to provide high-quality career prep support to their students and building relationships directly with employers to serve as a talent pipeline for their hiring needs.
