The fundamental mission of Cherish Exchange is to support the Cherish primary school located in Ponda Mali, Nakuru, Kenya. We hope to to build an environmentally sustainable and socially impactful schooling facility to replace the recently lost land and schooling structure. In addition to providing a supportive education-based community, the goals of the new school build are to use natural and recycled materials that are affordable and sourced locally. Ideally, the structure will prove to be an example to Nakuru; modeling resourceful techniques of building and hopes of innovation to the developing community and country.
