The Senior Rainbow Assistance Program was created by group of Chicago based women with a passion for working with seniors and contributing positively to society with a social work mindset. SRAP’s core leadership together has over 40 years experience in working in senior living and social work programming. Our vision is to provide LGBTQ seniors with the support they need to remain safe, warm and healthy at a time of most need. Our mission to provide temporary financial assistance for LGBTQ seniors experiencing temporary hardships due to medical or financial concerns to ensure they can maintain their current living arrangements that safe, warm and dry.
