The festival has the best international, national and local acts. It is much loved by Canberra. It's gone from selling almost 4000 tickets in its first year to having around 14 000 on sale in 2018 with a range of free entertainment as well. The Canberra Comedy Festival is run by Canberra Comedy Company Pty Ltd with Directors Tim Duck, Benjamin Stevenson, David Graham, James Stevenson and Pat Hornby. Between them, the team has a wealth of experience through either performing comedy and/or producing comedy shows.
