STEP2 is a substance abuse treatment facility that provides comprehensive coordinated services to families in Reno, Nevada. STEP2 provides women and their children suffering from chemical addiction, poverty and domestic violence the opportunity to rebuild their lives. The result is self-sufficient healthy families. STEP2 is different from most treatment centers, in that we provide treatment and housing for a women and her children for up to 18 months. Self sufficiency is achieved through integrated treatment services and skills training provided at STEP2 including, housing, childcare, family management, transportation, employment counseling and healthy living. Since many clients are suffering from poverty in addition to chemical addiction no woman is every turned away because of her inability to pay for treatment.
