Don West is a veteran criminal defense attorney practicing in state and federal courts. He holds the attorney rating AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell and has been board certified by the Florida Bar since 1987 as a criminal trial specialist. Mr. West has broad experience in handling white collar crimes, drug offenses, sex offenses and homicide and has been lead counsel in several high profile death penalty cases in state and federal courts in Central Florida and Puerto Rico. He has been designated as Learned Counsel in death penalty cases in the District Court in the Middle District of Florida, the District of Puerto Rico and in Florida state courts. Mr. West served as co-counsel with Mark O'Mara during the trial of George Zimmerman.
