Since our founding, we’ve believed in the power of art and its ability to bring individuals together. Art has the potential to be our common ground, an unspoken language that inspires unity and establishes a sense of community. In this way, we recognized that art could be a means to foster relationships between businesses and the local community. Thus, came The PALETTE Project, where we seek to deepen partnerships between nonprofits and for-profits through collaborative mural painting. These would be hands-on volunteer and team building events for organizations in which they could help paint a mural for a nonprofit, think a huge “paint-by-number” activity. We hope to continue to build relationships between nonprofits and for-profits, give nonprofits the gift of art, while also uplifting local artists.
