We believe medication training is too important for a ‘tick box’ approach from a general training company. Our sole passion is providing medication administration training to care staff and nurses that focuses on competence and reduction of medication errors (in one study by 36%). We use both experienced pharmacist and nurse trainers as we believe this skill mix is a strength. We are endorsed by Skills for Care, with our Foundation Courses in Medicines Administration also accredited by the Royal College of Nursing. We provide all formats: practical face-to-face training, virtual (live) online training, and on demand online training (e-learning), with some courses using a mix of these formats. Our Foundation Courses teach medicines administration as a 15-step process to avoid complacency and reduce medication errors. Simulated medicines rounds assess competence at key points, with learner reports measuring individual learner improvement available to managers afterwards. We offer a comprehensive range of medicines courses: medicines assessor training, managing medication errors, courses on controlled drugs and many more (see below). Our medication training is trusted by 20 local authorities and numerous health and social care providers across the UK.
