Alco Bio Fuel NV is a young biorefinery that was started in 2008 in Ghent. It is the largest producers of bioethanol, animal feed and CO₂ in Belgium. The Ghent factory is part of the Alcogroup, one of the largest bioethanol producer in Europe, and Vanden Avenne, a specialized grain trader. As Alco Bio Fuel Ghent, we are a sustainable organization that have as a goal to be climate-neutral by 2030. The factory in Ghent has approximately 50 employees. Alco Bio Fuel Ghent makes a solid contribution to sustainably energy use in transport.
