JV International (formerly Jasper's Volunteers) provide experience to university students that benefits both their physical and emotional development, and providing these experience opportunities to university students for free, and also at minimal-to-no costs to companies and organisations. This lean privately owned philanthropy based organisation was founded in June 2017 by Jasper and Jovi Pearson with the encouragement and praise of numerous tertiary institutions, especially from UNSW. Many charities have since benefited, with profits directly given to charities ranging from the RSPCA to the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. Students from UNSW and other universities have participated in various volunteering programs, gaining new skills and building upon existing knowledge, such as time management, communication skills, and emotional intelligence such as empathy. JV fosters cross-cultural communication and strive for a future where students are not disadvantaged from gaining experience due to their socio-economic backgrounds.
