I am a hobby artist / freelance artist based out of the Midwest. I have been attracted to art for as long as I can remember, and my interest in expanding my toolbox really grew when I was taking a Desktop Publishing class in highschool and had the opportunity to explore Adobe Photoshop. In addition to art, I was always making webpages for fun as a teenager -- making message boards and personal websites through the great, free web domains of our time. Naturally, my interests and toolbox grew and I've ultimately dabbled in a lot of crafting endeavors... I'm ever evolving, and often jump to new interests, however my original interest in creating art - no matter the medium - remains strong and passionate. I knew I wasn't going to stop making images that I would eventually have to showcase somewhere, and so my personal corner of the web was born, which is meganmakesmagic.com I am an Effingham native and I have been lucky to have a community of friends and teachers to support me. I've been in the local news for winning a Grand Prize "Create an Ad" contest in gradeschool; Creating a local band's CD release cover - the Jed Adam band; and for designing the Heron Cove logo, which stands at the beautiful Lake Sara in Effingham today. Now that I have properly introduced myself -- Welcome to my LinkedIn page! My goals are to expand my audience and connect with others in the Art and Illustration industries. Most of all, I just hope to keep sharing images that might inspire others :)
