Rama Group was founded in 1972 by K.Ramanathan. The company manufactured all kinds of stainless steel kitchen and household utensils. In 1990, it was then taken over by K.R.Balachandran, who streamlined the company and specialized into manufacturing and exporting stainless steel gravity water filters.
