About IPFA IPFA is the international association for ‘not for profit' organisations involved in the manufacture and/or supply of plasma derived medicinal products or the collection of plasma used for their manufacture. The mission of IPFA is to support its member organisations in their goal to secure a national supply of safe and high quality plasma products for the benefit of patients in their communities. IPFA brings together organisations working in different regions of the world, with differing health care systems, but united by the common principles of not-for-profit and the voluntary non-remunerated blood donation in the belief that they form the basis for a sustainable, safe and secure supply of blood and plasma derived products to meet all patients' needs in their communities and countries. IPFA events In the field of blood and plasma products changes occur frequently and continuously, as in any other medical sector. The changes touch on all aspects of the industry. Politics, laws and regulations, plus science and technology are and will be in constant development. "Quality and safety" and also "supply" have become permanent priorities for all stakeholders.
