We are a California-registered, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation with the goals to support and develop amateur curling athletes in order to participate in national, international, and Olympic competition. We run introductory clinics for the public to try the sport and lesson series to develop skills. Our members participate in leagues throughout the year, travel to other clubs for bonspiels (tournaments), and bid to compete in national events such as US Arena National Championships and US Club National Championships. Our activities are held at Solar4America Ice Centers (formerly Sharks Ice) in San Jose and Fremont. SVCC and its members belong to the Mountain Pacific Curling Association, the US Curling Association, and the US Women’s Curling Association.
