www.touchmyheart.givesTouch My Heart was formed in 2010 as a not for profit corporation under IRS 501(c)(3) (Fed Tax ID# 27-191968). We provide goods and services to enrich the lives of those with mental and physical disabilities. Our inaugural year was a resounding success. Touch My Heart received official designation as a non-profit organization under IRS 501(c)(3) while maintaining our support in various programming activities dedicated to the special needs community. Some of these activities included: -Partnering with local church youth groups to host carnivals for the developmentally disabled community, providing a great social outlet in a comfortable setting while raising special needs awareness in the local communities. -Hosted a Summer picnic attended by over 800 developmentally disabled persons and their friends, families and caretakers in partnership with Harvest Bible Chapel – Naperville and the Boy Scouts of America – Three Fires Council. -Hosted a Christmas Party for over 400 developmentally disabled people providing many in attendance with the only Christmas they would have. -Continued to support the Boy Scouts of America with programming services for the developmentally disabled community and disability awareness education and training.
