Located in Chicago's Buena Park, Saint Mary of the Lake strives to create a spiritual home for all! Saint Mary of the Lake is grounded in the present and faces the future with Faith, Hope, and Love. Our church is Inspired by the Italian Renaissance using three Roman churches as design influences. Saint Mary Major and Saint Paul Outside the Walls impacted the design for the building, while Saint Prudenziana’s campanile inspired the bell tower.
