Our only defining element is “Contrast.” As artists we seek to exploit the contrast of everything because we know that opposites exist for the fullness of experience; there can be no light without dark, no fast without slow, no sweet without salty, no good without evil, no soft without hard. It is the contrast that builds the tension and amplifies the effect- creating drama and commanding attention; the eye is immediately drawn to areas of high contrast and the opposite allows us to appreciate and be fully satisfied. Whether it’s graphics and identity, fashion and interiors, products and packaging, exhibitions and installations, websites and digital experiences, advertising and communications, we seek to connect and empower the audience through the idea of being uncomfortable.
