At Röda Sten Konsthall you can experience exhibitions and performances by Swedish and international artists. Across four floors, you can see paintings, photography, performances, video and sound art - and there are plenty of opportunities to participate in creative processes and conversations. Röda Sten Konsthall exhibits contemporary art, art that leads the ideas surrounding current events and questions the society we live in today. In addition to attending exhibitions, you can also choose to be an active part in a wide-range of programs including guided tours, lectures, and creative workshops. The content is adapted to the theme and questions raised in the current exhibition. Here, you can discuss and reflect upon what you have seen and experienced in the exhibition while drawing connections to current topics and events. Since 2006, Röda Sten Konsthall has been the organiser of Göteborg International Biennial for Contemporary Art (GIBCA), filling Göteborg with global contemporary art every other year.
