BB&T Arena, located on the campus of Northern Kentucky University, opened in September 2008 with Carrie Underwood, and has continuously hosted a wide variety of events, such as concerts, comedy, family shows, collegiate and non-collegiate sporting events. Artists who have performed at BB&T Arena include: Miranda Lambert, The 1975, Luke Bryan, Paul Simon, Jason Aldean, Bob Dylan, Blake Shelton, Jay-Z, Jeff Dunham, 2 Chainz, Old Dominion, Casting Crowns, Barry Manilow, Chris Tomlin, REO Speedwagon and Cirque du Soleil.
