Prosperity Southwest is a collaborative group of economic development professionals from 5 counties in southwest Wisconsin. The member counties are Crawford, Grant, Green, Lafayette and Richland County. Economic development groups from Cuba City and Platteville also participate. Southwest Tech is a valued technical college in our region who also plays an active role in this regional group. Prosperity Southwest was originally formed as a way for economic development peers to come together for networking, support and sharing of best practices. Now the group has evolved and is working on initiatives that promote the whole region including marketing, attending conferences and trade shows and promoting key industries.
