The Pine2Pink Foundation 501(c)(3) raises money to benefit breast cancer patients in treatment and recovery. The local community is motivated to make donations that will benefit local patients -- locals helping locals. Pine2Pink's launched in October 2018 in Doylestown, PA. Proceeds will be earmarked for treatments and services such as; cold caps, treatment transportation and out-of-pocket medical expenses. The recipient for 2018 is the Breast Cancer Program of the Doylestown Cancer Institute. Pine2Pink's unique multi-pronged program lasts one-month: 1) We changed Pine St. to Pink St. 2) We changed the exterior lights in and around town to pink 3) We launched an App that allowed people to embark on a virtual scavenger hunt on the search for almost 200 ribbons and an access to over 100 prizes. 4) We launched Eat, Drink and Shop Pink where proceeds from Pine2Pink specialty items were given to the Foundation. There are over 5,000 Pine St.'s across the US, we will expand in years to come across the country in an effort to provide aid to breast cancer patients in treatment and recovery Nationwide.
