Created by aspiring barristers, for aspiring barristers. Past, present & future law students aspiring to become practicing barristers within the jurisdiction of the English & Welsh legal system will benefit from The Bar Society. Our principle aims are to provide benefit to students from under-represented backgrounds & make available opportunities or experiences not presently available to them. In developing our outreach, The Bar Society will positively impact the community by facilitating public understanding of the legal sector. This will be done by producing engaging workshops, lectures & other activities for students designed to increase the accessibility of the Bar. We cut the jargon & the pretentiousness.
