Creo Design (Pty) Ltd is active in the mineral exploration industry, offering turnkey solutions from the exploration phase and ore body modeling, to conceptual mine design. Years of well-respected geological knowledge is combined with state-of-the-art technological advancements to offer our clients a holistic picture from where critical decisions can be made. This list can include electro-magnetic surveys and the interpretation thereof, core and percussion drilling, and the use of advanced software to create realistic and accurate 3D profiles of the ore body. Initial scoping and feasibility studies on the ore body provide the client with more insights, thereby assisting decision-making. In addition, Creo Design also offers Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) services. This discipline adds another dimension to our exploration tools, often used for effective communication (maps), landform modeling (digital elevation models), data capturing (digitizing, GPS, satellite image classification), and reconnaissance studies of areas of interest (manipulation of satellite images). Application of these services is not limited to mineral exploration and we have been involved with terrain suitability studies for residential developments, soil erosion modeling, and landcover/landuse classification.
