The Rochester Police Foundation was established in May of 2012 by business and civic leaders as an independent nonprofit organization to support the Rochester Police Department in public safety and law enforcement excellence. The Police Foundation works closely with the Chief of Police to develop and implement a strategic program to raise awareness and resources that are not readily available through other means to assist RPD in their efforts to promote public safety, in addition to many programs directly aimed at benefitting the community of Rochester and its residents.
