The International Research Project (IRP) is a project of the Financial Study association Rotterdam. Every year, the IRP offers tailor-made research to companies and organizations that are interested in getting valuable insights for their business in an international market. For over 20 years now, the IRP has performed research projects all over the world. The students have delivered useful strategic advice to the complex business challenges. The students are focused on the provision of realistic, refreshing and valuable solutions to the organization. Furthermore, the project is supervised by strategy consultants from leading consultancy companies. By participating in several lectures, workshops and training days from top consultancy firms such as Bain & Company, EY, Oliver Wyman, and Kenneth Smith, the students are optimally prepared to provide the best strategic advice to the company. This year’s focus of the International Research Project will be on Europe. The focus of the specific country is determined by the purpose of the project of the respective company. You, as consultant, can have a big influence in the decision of the destination and it highly depends on the course of the acquisition. If you like to challenge yourself, you could possibly go to Spain, the United Kingdom or Italy, since these countries are affected the most due to COVID-19.
