IAAPPA: Leadership in Education Facilities The Iowa Chapter of the Association of Physical Plant Administrators (IAAPPA) is an affiliate of APPA: Leadership in Education Facilities. We are also affiliated with Midwest APPA (MAPPA). All of these organizations are comprised of higher education facilities professionals, business members and emeritus institutional members. IAAPPA typically hosts two semi-annual conferences focused on innovations and best practices for the facilities and institutions that we serve. These conferences rotate to various college campuses in Iowa. The conferences also serve as an opportunity for business members to network with the key facilities professionals that make decisions on how to improve the operations of their respective campuses. Institutional Membership in IAAPPA is open to universities, colleges, K-12 schools, libraries, museums and other educational institutions that have facilities professionals. The Midwest Group (MAPPA) is comprised of the following seven states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. Other membership types that are available are Affiliate, Emeritus, Retired, Student and Business Partner.  Please note that all membership types, except for Business Partner, must also be members of APPA. To join APPA or find more information about any of the APPA groups, visit the APPA website: http://appa.org/Membership/joinAPPA.cfm.
