Welcome to Sustainable Ocean Alliance Australia! This is the 2nd SOA hub to start in Australia and our aim is to act as a mentor hub for all current and future Australian hubs. We are part of the global organisation Sustainable Ocean Alliance and share their passion for protecting and conserving Earth's oceans. Our Mission: To inspire and educate Australians of all ages to care for Earth’s oceans and take collective actions to save and protect them. What we'll do: connect with hubs worldwide, particularly in Australia and the Asia-Pacific to collaborate about ideas, events and opportunities provide advice for current (1) and aspiring Australian SOA hubs Events you can look forward to: documentary/film screening nights (e.g. Blue the Film, A Plastic Ocean, etc.) virtual and in-person speaker series from speakers from Sea Shepherd, Greenpeace, academics, professors, students beach clean-ups networking nights petitions, campaigns about key environmental issues collaborate with business, academics, schools and industry to make Australia’s future a more sustainable one
