Forklift, Ohio: A Journal of Poetry, Cooking, & Light Industrial Safety ("publication") is edited, designed, produced and published roughly twice a year by founders and longtime collaborators Matt Hart and Eric Appleby (here listed in chronological order) under the imprint of Forklift, Ink. Its staff, which also includes Brett Price, Merrill Feitell, and Tricia Suit, seeks out imaginative works of poetry, short fiction, visual art and prose from authors and artists both new and noteworthy. Additionally, it has been known to include such diversions as recipes, agricultural wisdom, home economics lessons, and other bits of found and invented nonsense.
