Africa’s Potential is a Social Entrepreneurship organization that is providing knowledge, expertise project management to Universities, private companies, NGO’s and governmental organizations regarding African entrepreneurship, establishing sustainable markets and empowering local African entreprenuers to help the continent to prosper. Mission: Africa’s Potential strives to fill the gap between aid and sustainability. We firmly believe that business and entrepreneurship is the best way to lift people out of poverty, create stability and a prosperous region. It is in this context that Africa’s Potential plays an integral part identifying local entrepreneurs that can take participation in any developing projects carried out by private companies, government organizations and agencies. Values: Dependancy on aid only breeds inactivity and voids entrepreneurship, which is why our Values are three words: Boosting, African, Entrepreneurs! Goals: Africa’s Potentials goal is to become the leading authority on identifying and supporting local entrepreneurs in Africa. Our performance in the region will increase aid efficiency and lift people out of poverty. We will always focus on empowering the local entrepreneurs for each project, and see them as equal partners, not as bystanders! Concrete results then? The book that the Founders of Africa's Potential wrote, "Identifying the African Entrepreneur - a success story" (available on Amazon.com) created the groundframe for a larger Entrepreneurship project, Insert Africa, resulting in around 150 entreprenurial jobs was created in the Manafwa-region, during the first and initial project. During the next phase of the Insert Africa project, more then 3 000 people in the Manfwa-region were able to recieve pure water from a Waterstation, which is run by a large solarpanel installation.
