Federico Delrosso Architects
www.federicodelrosso.comFederico Delrosso, architect and designer from Biella, operates at international level from 2001 in Milan where he estabilished his studio Federico Delrosso Architects, dedicated towards architecture, interior and product design. Respecting the natural and urban contexts and the spirit of the places, Federico Delrosso conceives projects of refined lightness. The materials, often left raw, and the light, a tangible component of each project, represent the essence of his stylistic research and the very idea of architecture, conceived as the bearer of "a soul that lies in every detail, to reach that delicate balance that makes it independent from those who created it, live it or will live it ". In the design field, many important collaborations were made with brands like Davide Groppi and Henry Timi. The wall lamp Mima (2007, for Davide Groppi) was nominated for the XXI Compasso d'Oro 2008 and joins the permanent collection of ADI. In 2012 he was finalists for the Best of Year Award, organized by the magazine Interior Design (USA) with the restaurant design of Notime in Montecarlo, as well as receiving several other mentions. Lecturer at many international conventions, in 2014 he was invited to the Moscow Architecture Biennale to give lecture on the topic "Light and Architecture" and was nominated as a member of IIDA of Chicago. Various publications were made on national and international magazines; in 2013 his monograph Pushing the Boundaries (Skira) was published. Eclectic architect with a multidisciplinary approach, he participates in the Dining by Design event (NY) and realizes the installation Purifying walk (Museo Acqua Franca). In 2016, at the Triennale of Milan he presented his personal exhibition Residual spaces.
